Looking to the Light

Long Time Coming...

So this update is a long time coming but hopefully well worth the wait. I don't think I put anything on here before our trip to New Zealand about the fact that Jordan is pregnant. I can hardly believe her cute little bump. I can believe even less that I'm gonna be a dad. I'm so excited for our little girl. We keep talking about a few names (Eden and Tyler are top of the list). Our baby is due June 21, 2008 and we're hoping we'll have most of the house and the yard all done before that.

Reunions and Get Togethers

As summer approaches families will be preparing for the big Family Reunion and high schools across the country will be holding thousands of class reunions throughout the summer. What sort of experiences have you had at your reunion? Did you register at a site like Classmates.com or Reunion.com before?

I attended my 5 year High School reunion a few years ago and sad enough it seemed as though noone had changed. I wasn't one of those people who relished my High School years wishing that somehow it would be able to go on forever. Rather I tried to get out of there as fast  as possible which is probably why I was less than thrilled to be at my reunion. One of my best friends wife was in charge of putting the reunion together though so I thought I'd go and support them and help out if I could. It was fun to catch up with a few people and see what they'd been up to.

Marriage

I've been married for almost a month and I can't believe what an amazing woman I've married. Jordan is so amazing and frankly I am amazingly blessed to have found such a special person who is so patient and understanding.

Flying High and Flying Low

I just got off a plane coming back from my trip to California. With all the current news about airplane crashes in Oklahoma and with Yankee's Corey Lidle dying in a plane accident I was a little apprehensive to travel. I knew though that everything would be ok.

My trip was good. There were some high points and some low points but it was good to be able to spend time working with the marketing team and talk about the way that we can best work to grow our business. Hopefully we'll be able to work together to grow our companies and help them gain the skills to help them get any job they want when they decide its the right time for them to move on to another opportunity.

Wedding Invitations

Jordan and I got our invitations today and we are almost done putting them together. I expect that by tomorrow we'll be ready to send them out and then we'll have most everything done except for a few small things until the wedding day.

I'm really excited to get married. Jordan is such an amazing girl and I am lucky to marry such an amazing girl.
